How to Install & Configure the PrinterCo Windows App for Automatic Order Printing
This guide will walk you through the steps to download, install, and configure the PrinterCo Windows App to automatically print orders from your website.
✅ Prerequisites
- Make sure you have a PrinterCo account.
- If you don’t have one yet, see the account creation tutorial.
🧩 Step 1: Download & Install the App
- Go to https://printerco.net.
- On the homepage, click “Download Now” under the Windows App section.
- Once downloaded:
- Locate the
.exe
file. - Double-click it to start the installation.
- If Windows shows a “Windows protected your PC” warning, click Run anyway.
- Follow the installation steps:
- Click Next > Next > Install.
- Once finished, click Finish.
- Locate the
✅ You should now see the PrinterCo App icon on your desktop.
🖨️ Step 2: Add a Printer in the Dashboard
- Log in to your PrinterCo Dashboard.
- Click “Add Printer”.
- Click Generate Serial Number > click OK.
- Then click Submit > Register Now.
- Choose Device Type:
- Select Windows App and Printer from the dropdown.
- Click Submit > Continue.
- Fill out the required fields:
- Device Manager Password – This will be used to log in to the Windows app.
- Business Name – Enter your business name (e.g., Demo Store).
- Click Submit.
💡 You might see a billing notice — don’t worry, it’s just info. A 15-day free trial is active.
🔗 Step 3: Connect the App to Your Dashboard
- Back in your dashboard:
- Go to Settings > View for the printer you added.
- Copy the Printer ID and Device Manager Password.
- Open the PrinterCo App on your desktop.
- Enter:
- Printer ID
- Password
- Click Login.
🖨️ Step 4: Link Your Physical Printer
- In the app, go to Settings > Printer Settings.
- You’ll see a list of connected printers.
- Select the POS/thermal printer you want to use (e.g., POSOS80).
✅ Your printer is now ready to print automatically.
🧪 Step 5: Test the Setup
- Go to the dashboard.
- Click “Submit a Test Order”.
- After a few seconds, a notification will pop up.
- You can Accept and enter a preparation time (e.g., 30 minutes).
🖨️ The order will be printed!
🤖 Step 6: Enable Full Automation
- In your dashboard, go to Printer Settings.
- Enable:
- Automatically Accept Orders
- Skip Setting Delivery Time
- Click Save.
Now when a new order comes in:
- It’s accepted automatically
- It prints instantly
- No manual steps required!

Your PrinterCo Windows App is now fully set up for automatic order printing.
