Welcome to our community!
Firstly, we like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you. Sometimes there can be an IMEI mismatch with our database and what's assigned to the devices. In this case, we will need to collect the correct IMEI number from you, along with serial number (S/N) so that we can correct our database. After this is done, we'll remove the printer from your iConnect account so that you can add it back again, this time with the correct IMEI number. To find the IMEI number on your printer, press the "F1" button on your printer and then scroll to "Display IMEI". Please check to see if this matches with the one shown on your iConnect.
Sometime, the reason your printer can get be disconnected from the server is due to the setup wizard not run correctly. Therefore, can you please confirm to me that you have successfully run through the setup wizard, without any IMEI error messages. If done correctly, you should see "iBacsTel" on the idle screen. If not done correctly, you will still be prompted to run the setup wizard. If you think you have not done this correctly, please follow the steps below: 1. Press the CONFIRM button (for IBT500) OR the MENU button (for IBT6000). 2. Enter your device manager password (by default it is set to 123456 or 0000) 3. Select SETUP WIZARD 4. Follow the on-screen instructions For a visual demonstration on how to run the setup wizard, click the link below: IBT500: https://youtu.be/6L1VuOroH3E IBT6000: https://youtu.be/6L1VuOroH3E?t=2m20s
Sometimes, a connection issue can arise if you have both a sim card and Wi-Fi connections both running together. Please re-try to run the setup wizard with either the GPRS mode or Wi-Fi. A) If you are using the GPRS mode, then ensure you are entering your correct network APN details. Also, ensure to have turned off Wi-Fi under F1 -> Settings -> Wi-Fi. B) If you are using the Wi-Fi mode, then ensure you have taken out the sim card.
