Description
The P600G is one of the many types of printer manufactured by PrinterCo. A battery powered portable printer built for telecommunications. It takes advantage of the wide coverage of mobile communication networks. A fine thermal printer that is prominent for applications that require orders from an eCommerce platform to be printed, without the need of a computer.
The P600G thermal printer has basic SMS capabilities, making it able to print SMS messages that are sent to it. It also works via WiFi or GPRS (2g) using a data sim card. This makes it ideal to receive information over the internet to print, whether it’s from an ecommerce website or mobile app. The P600G thermal printer uses the pull data method at a minimum of every 30 seconds to fetch new information to print. It can transfer huge amounts of data with data compression techniques, which means fewer megabytes used.

FAQ
Q1. I switched the thermal printer on but it’s not turning on.
A1. The battery charge is most likely low. Connect the power adapter and wait at least a minute to turn it on.
Q2. The battery is not charging.
A2. The battery or power adapter is faulty. Completely remove the battery leaving only the power adapter connected. After a minute, hold down the power button for 5 seconds. If the thermal printer turns on then the battery is faulty. Email support@printerco.net to ask for a replacement. Your 1-year warranty will cover you for this.
Q3. The signal with the thermal printer is low or has none at all.
A3. The signal may be disturbed when using the thermal printer on metal worktops, nearby tall buildings, in a basement or next to other electrical devices that generate an electric wave. Try to move the portable printer to a different location and see if the signal improves after a minute or two.
Q4. Data sim card not detected.
A4. Double check the sim card has been inserted correctly. If so, try removing the sim card and give the chip a quick rub to remove any possible dirt or residue.
If this does not solve it, try pressing the metal sim card holder down without breaking it. Sometimes, the holder may be raised not allowing the sim card chip to make any contact with the printer’s sim card module.
If this does not solve the problem either, then you have a faulty printer which needs to be replaced. Contact the support team via email or live chat to get details on where to send the printer.
Q5. The printer keeps freezing up.
A5. Once the thermal printer has been set up to connect to the internet, whether via GPRS or WiFi, it will continuously busy itself until an internet connection is established. Hence why the freezing. Sometimes a quick reboot can help to fix this, or even contacting your sim card provider and asking them to refresh/flush your sim card.
