How to print multiple copies of a receipt

To configure your printer to print more than one copy of the receipt, follow the steps below using your printer:

1. Press the MENU or CONFIRM button - depending on your printer model.
2. Enter the manager password (by default this is set to 123456).
3. Select DEVICE CONFIG.
4. Scroll down and select ADDITIONAL COPY.
5. Change the 0 to the desired number of copies you would like.
6. Press MENU or CONFIRM to save your changes.

Get system alerts for Pending Orders or Offline Printers

Our system has an alert function you can use. It allows you to setup email notifications to be sent out to you for all your printers for the following scenarios. A. If you have a pending order for a prolonged time. B. If your printer is offline for a prolonged time. You can define the prolonged time. The minimum time is 5 minutes, and the maximum 5 days. To do this, login into to your iConnect dashboard. Hover over the menu bar item "Others" and then click on "Alerts". Under the "Actions" column click on Activate to turn on the alert. On the next page, you can select a duration and then click the "Activate" button to save the settings. If you also want the notification to be sent to more than one email, you can do this by going to your "Edit Printer" page from your "Printer List” and adding the emails to the "Additional alert email" field, separating each one with a comma.

Can I auto-print or auto-accept outside of the store opening hours?

The "Opening Hours" option allows orders to be sent to the printer only during the business hours. If an order is sent to our server outside of these hours, it will not be sent to the printer. As soon as the business hours begin, the order will be sent to the printer. Once the order is sent to the printer, you now have the options to have it automatically print out and/or accepted. This cannot be done before the order is received. The order of these steps does not have much flexibility. Therefore, requests such as, 'automatically printing an order that was placed outside of business hours' is not possible.

When can I check when my printer was last active?

Please login to your iConnect and click the "Live Status" button from the dashboard. You can also navigate to this page by hovering over the "Printers" menu item and then clicking on "Live Status"

How do I change the brightness of the printer?

If the screen is a little darker than you'd like, you can adjust the contrast by pressing the F1 button, then select Settings, and then Settings once again.

My printer has 3G and Wi-fi. Can I just use Wi-fi?

Yes. The IBT6000W is equipped to work with 2G sims OR a Wi-Fi connection. The IBT6000EW is equipped to work with 2G and 3G sims OR a Wi-Fi connection. When adding the printer to iConnect, the user will be asked to enter the SIM Serial Number (SSN). This is a mandatory field. However, if they plan to use only the Wi-Fi connection, they can simply enter a random entry into this field, e.g. 0000

To turn off the Wi-Fi press the F1 button > Settings > Wi-Fi > WLAN Manage > Off

How do I setup the “Opening Times” feature?

To use the "Opening Times" please ensure you have enabled the option from both your iConnect dashboard and your Printer Settings.iConnect Dashboard ================= 1. Navigate to your "Printer List" page. 2. Click the "Opening Time" icon located under the "Action" column. 3. Just below the top right corner of the page, set the drop box labelled "Use opening time for printer connectivity?" to "Yes". 4. How to connect your printer to the internet?

There a are 3 ways to communicate with the iBacsTel printers. 1. SMS: This is the most basic method and requires no configuration as it doesn't need to connect with your iConnect. Simply insert a working sim card and send your SMS to the mobile number. Your SMS will be printer shortly. This is a 1-way communication and each SMS message are limited to 160 characters. 2. GPRS(2G) and 3G: This allows a 2-way communication, meaning you can send your order to the printer and expect a response to be available in iConnect. With this method, you will be required to use your network APN details. During the setup wizard, select the GPRS option. 3. Wi-Fi: This also allows a 2-way communication. During the setup wizard, select the Wi-Fi option to find your Wi-Fi and connect to it. Please note: Using both method 2 and 3 together may cause conflict in connecting to the internet. Therefore, use only 1 at a time is recommended. You can always change this by re-running the setup wizard again.
